BBW weigh

If you're wondering how much a BBW weighs, the answer might surprise you, and we won't do anything to hide it: it's simply not possible to define a priori a standard rule or weight for fat and beautiful women.

This is because the concept of "fat" and the idea we have of BBWs could vary according to subjective or cultural factors, so it's not really possible to reach values that could set standards.

On the other hand, you can still advance theories, and that's exactly what we're going to do today. If you are interested in the world of BBW dating, and want to inform yourself in depth, in this article you can still get an idea of the approximate weight of these women.

Body Mass Index

Women trying to figure out how to become BBW know perfectly well that gaining weight and fat is a challenging mission and not an easy one. Also because it's not enough to put on a little weight, since we're talking about a lot of fat and therefore very high levels of body mass in relation to height.

Specifically, experts in the field consider a woman to be fat only if her BMI exceeds 26. In the table below we'll clarify what the scientific values are for the various BMIs.

  • Body mass index below 19: underweight individual
  • Body mass index between 19 and 24: normal or average weight individual
  • Body mass index between 25 and 30: overweight individual
  • Body mass index higher than 30: obese individual

Based on what we have seen you can easily understand that a body mass index higher than 25 is the minimum necessary to identify a fat woman, but in reality you can go even beyond an index of 30. The BMI rule is the only really valid rule to define a person as thin, fat or obese.

How much does a BBW weigh

We have talked about body mass index for a very specific reason: a woman who weighs 90 kilos and is 1.70 meters tall, is obviously very different from a woman with the same weight but with a height of 1.90 meters.

This you can easily guess by yourself, although it may still be interesting to deepen the issue and see it in the perspective of the pounds. After all, understanding what BBW means also means to make examples of weight, perhaps not reliable but still concrete, just to give you an idea.

Many experts say that a woman can be considered a BBW when her weight exceeds by +25 kilograms the normal weight in relation to her height (the index rule is back).

And that anyway, to enter in this category, she should weigh from 90 kilograms up (up to 140 kilograms). Below 90 kilos, several people do not consider a woman BBW but simply "chubby" or "abundant".

If you exceed 140 kilograms of weight, you enter a category that is nicknamed "SBBW" (Super BBW). As we will find out below, however, we are talking about a very subjective value.

Curvy women viewed subjectively

Some men consider very fat women to be BBWs, and tend to exclude simply "plump" or "voluptuous" girls from the list. Others include in this list also the second ones, so it is clear that - since there are no defined rules - we decide one or the other thing.

And we do it according to our personal tastes. The same is true for girls: some of them see themselves as BBWs even if they are not very overweight, while others are out of this category even if they are very heavy.

Weight-wise, the question basically boils down to this set of options, which we've actually mentioned before:

  • Just over 200 pounds
  • Around 114 kilograms
  • Around 130 kilograms

It is possible to understand the three measures seen above in the same way as the categories in boxing: in the first case we talk about a "featherweight" category, that is a BBW that is right at the minimum limit allowed to enter in the rankings.

In the second case we are talking about an average BBW, therefore of a "welter" category, while in the third circumstance we are talking about a heavyweight. We repeat that these are numbers, and therefore values that on the one hand are objective, but on the other hand must take into account what each of us think at a personal level.

BBW and cultural vision

We would like to conclude by telling you that culture also defines a vision of BBW that can be different from other visions.

To give a concrete example, in Germany girls with very wide hips and large breasts are considered BBWs. On the contrary, in countries where the obesity rate is very high (like the USA), BBWs are really heavy women (over 100 kilograms).
